He served as Czech Minister of Foreign Affairs from 2018 to 2021 and has held policy-making roles at national and European institutions focused on international cooperation. His current work focuses on the geopolitics of the climate transition, the geoeconomics of interconnectivity, and the shifting dynamics of a multipolar world.
He holds a PhD in International Relations from Charles University, with academic work spanning energy security, European integration, and global governance, and an M.A. in International Political Economy from the University of Warwick. He lectures on foreign affairs and geopolitics at Charles University in Prague and cooperates with a number of leading European and international think tanks.
As Founder and CEO of Eunoia Horizons, he leads the firm's mission of delivering geopolitical insight, strategic foresight, and sustainable solutions to governments, businesses, and civil society partners.


His career began in actuarial work with Prudential in London, followed by investment banking with CA IB (now UniCredit), where he specialised in mergers and acquisitions in the energy and utilities sectors — work that gave him a close view of how capital and policy interact in strategically sensitive industries.
He went on to lead executive search assignments across Central and Eastern Europe with Pedersen & Partners before moving into academia, teaching finance, economics, and management in Europe, the Middle East, and the Caribbean. He is currently an Assistant Professor at the Prague University of Economics and Business, where his research centres on corporate governance and sustainable finance.
At Eunoia Horizons, Tanweer brings expertise in responsible investment, sustainable economic models, and financial governance — helping clients read global market dynamics and navigate the economic dimensions of long-term geopolitical shifts.


Trained in law at the University of Bayreuth, he completed his legal education with state examinations in 1993 and 1995, and has since been admitted to the German, Austrian, and Czech bars — a legal background complemented by long-standing engagement in international and European politics.
From 2021 to 2025, Jörg served as a Member of the German Bundestag for the Social Democratic Party (SPD). During his parliamentary tenure, he was active on the Defence Committee and the Committee on European Affairs, focusing on NATO's eastern flank, security developments in the Middle East, EU enlargement in the Western Balkans, and EU electoral law. He also served as the SPD's Speaker on the Afghanistan Enquiry Committee, contributing to parliamentary oversight of Germany's international engagements.
Alongside his national political work, Jörg has been closely engaged in German-Czech relations. In 2025, he was appointed German Co-Chair of the German-Czech Discussion Forum by the German Federal Foreign Office, supporting structured bilateral dialogue between the two countries, and he is a member of the Sudeten German Council, reflecting his work on historical reconciliation and cross-border cooperation in Central Europe.

He is the author of numerous publications and a regular panelist at Poland's leading public events, including the Economic Forum in Karpacz and the European Economic Congress in Katowice, and is a founding member of EUROSKOPIA, the first pan-European association of independent research agencies.
Marcin specialises in social, attitude, and preference research, as well as market, marketing, brand image, and satisfaction studies, and regularly conducts opinion polling on social and political issues. His client work spans finance and banking, energy, real estate, transport, education, and FMCG, alongside repeated cooperation with state-owned companies, local government units, ministries, government agencies, and NGOs — giving him a close, data-driven read on Polish public opinion and political dynamics. He is a graduate of the University of Warsaw in Political Science.


Currently completing a Master's in Geopolitical Studies at Charles University in Prague. He brings over fifteen years of experience as a U.S. lawyer, including as a criminal prosecutor specialising in sex crimes, giving him a background in human security and transnational crime that now informs his geopolitical work.
He served in the U.S. Air Force as a Judge Advocate General (JAG) officer, with postings in Japan, Kuwait, and the United States, and prosecuted cases for the State of Alaska and the Territory of Guam. Earlier in his career, he interned with the UN International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda (ICTR), where he helped prosecute war crimes committed during the Rwandan Genocide. His graduate thesis examines sex trafficking through the lens of transnational organised crime and human security.


With particular expertise in migration, conflict environments, and socio-political transformation in Africa and the Global South. His work translates complex geopolitical developments into actionable insight for public- and private-sector stakeholders.
He combines this analytical work with experience in strategic communication and content production, having developed and delivered high-level conferences, expert discussions, and multimedia outputs for academic, policy, and industry audiences. He is also a geopolitical analyst and co-hosts a geopolitics-focused podcast aimed at making global affairs accessible to broader audiences.
His background further includes corporate security and operational coordination in high-pressure international environments, where he worked with multicultural teams and supported institutional clients on situational awareness and risk-informed decision-making. At Eunoia Horizons, he contributes to research, strategic analysis, and the organisation's thought-leadership and content platforms.
